Seminar on COUNTERING VIOLENCE and EXTREMISM IN PAKISTAN

Today, I.e., on October 25, 2022, a seminar was organized by the Departments of English and under the supervision of HOD, Mrs. Bushra Waqar and Dr. Asia Rani respectively. The event started with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by Naat and national anthem.

A short documentary on rising extremism leading to incidents of violence was shown. Atiqa Iqbal and Nadia Irfan, students conducted the program gracefully as stage secretaries.

Students from different classes participated in the declamation contest. They indicated different reasons that lead to extremist thinking and violence in society. They emphasized on the need to educate our young generation to inculcate the virtues of tolerance and compassion taught us by the Holy Prophet ( pbuh)Following were the winners of the contest: English Speech Competition

After the results were announced all the winners and contestants received their certificates and group photos were taken.
