International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

Today a seminar was conducted at Govt. Post Graduate Islamia College for Women Lahore Cantt to celebrate “International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking”. The guest of honor, Zafar Anayat Anjum, Director Colleges graced the event with his presence. Other guests included Dr Farhan Ibadat Khan, Dr Humayun Mirza, Dr Shazib Shamim, Dr Salman, Dr M. Ayub and Sayed Zulfiqar.
The seminar highlighted the ill-effects of drugs and created awareness related to the major problems that illicit drugs pose to society. Our respected speakers highlighted the prevailing drug addiction scenario in the society and suggested the preventive measures for abating its all effects. The guest speakers mentioned steps to eradicate menace of addiction and educated audience about the ill-effects of drugs. Here are some glimpses of the event.
